What We Believe

We believe that the church is really people, not a building, of abigger from all walks of life and backgrounds and history coming together - with something, or rather someone, in common

We believe that Jesus Christ is Good News because He is…the baby in a manger, the man on a cross, the body in a tomb, the risen Saviour and the King on the throne!

02.

Who Are We

We are a small but enthusiastic group of believers whose lives have been seriously impacted by the living Christ

A sizeable number of us have found faith in Jesus in adult life

We meet in normal times on Sunday mornings for a united service and on Tuesday or Friday evenings in smaller home-groups

Our History

Holderness Community Church dates back to the early 1980s

It holds to the teachings and practices that Jesus Himself and His earliest followers established nearly two millennia ago - it is no ‘modern fad’!

We have met in various places of rented accommodation over the years, saving vast amounts of money, which we have been able to channel into many ‘good causes’
